I have isolated smooth muscle cells from guinea pig ureter and would like to settle them onto labtek 8 chamber slides. What are the optimum condidtion for this cell type and which medium should I use? Suppliers websites would be useful.

I have no idea which media is right for you.  DMEM is usually pretty rich media. The tissue might need some additional supplements to grow so you need to do a literature search (BLAST) to try to find someone else who has done this. 

As for media, ATCC and Hyclone both have high quality media and FBS.
