| We have problems with non-endothelial cells growing in our primary cultures. Under the microscope the appear round and are quite bright. Any idea what type of cells these might be? | | |

 | Sounds like hybridoma cells but that is not what they are. It is almost impossible to tell what kind of cell they are without a genotype or karyotype analysis. These could just be the same cell with different morphology, or maybe mycoplasma. Try to get them typed if it worries you. |
