Primary culture of rat endothelial cellsjfriesen132001-11-28Click here to register.
We have problems with non-endothelial cells growing in our primary cultures. Under the microscope the appear round and are quite bright. Any idea what type of cells these might be?

Sounds like hybridoma cells but that is not what they are.  It is almost impossible to tell what kind of cell they are without a genotype or karyotype analysis.  These could just be the same cell with different morphology, or maybe mycoplasma.  Try to get them typed if it worries you.
