Difference between High and Low Glucose DMEMpurush_792009-06-11Click here to register.
Dear Freinds,

Can somebody tell me what is the difference between High gluscose and low glucose media? (I know that its the percentage of glucose that varies in both)..but to be more specific, what is the need that companies market two different types as high and low glucose?

I am just guessing that the difference is because different cells have different metabolic rates, and their efficiency to utilize glucose differs significantly...?!!!!

I would appreciate if anyone can give me a more logical reason for this question.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Purush
