| I am new to cell culture. I need to evaluate cytotoxicity of a product. the protocol needs cells to be plated for 96 h and then analyzed by MTT assay. I am confused about how many cell should I add initially. I started with 40000 cells/well but the absorbances at the end of 96 h and MTT assay were >1.6 (570 nm). I am using HL-60 suspension cell line. I spin down the cells at end of 4 h incubation with MTT reagent and remove the media before adding DMSO. Please hlp ! Thanks |
