I am, all of a sudden, back in the research world and out of the big pharma world... I need to get hold of a CHO cell line which is already expressing a protein or MAB. How do I go about this? I am in South Africa. I do not have the equipment or time to do transfections. Thanks Judi

The ATCC and ECACC culture collections contain several lines that express recombinant protein products (type "recombinant antibody" in the search engine on their web sites for examples)...there may be some constraints on their commercial use but they generally can be used for research without restrictions.
