staining of fungal spores culturesyue2007-09-23Click here to register.
i will be doing a submerged culture to get fungal spores. but if we do submerged, all the enzymes and other products will be present in the liquid culture with the spores. Centrifuging only saperates the vegetative cells from the culture.

the question is how to get only the spores from the suspension? can we do staining to the fungal spores and centrifuge to get what we wanted?

furthermore, i would like to know, what are the choices for fungal spore staining with the references if possible, and i would like it to be viable after staining so that it can be separated from the medium. im not sure weather im out of topic or not, hoping to get a reply as soon as possible

thank you so much

yue
