| What is the purpose of carrying heat shock at 42 c on yeast cells with recombinant DNA plasmid. Doesn't yeast cell die at 42c? In the previous step of transformation, yeast was incubated at 30c shaker instead of 37c shaker. I was told 37 c is for E. coli only and for yeast cells, temp must be 30c. |
