As with most cell lines used in the Cellmax system, follow the normal procedures for flask culture but scale it up so that you can account for the increased surface area of the cartridges.

With Osteoblasts, use the normal media, usually Hams F12 or DMEM with .3 or .4 mg/ml G418.

I have seen most osteoblast cultures incubated at 33C or 34C, which allows doubling to occur in a shorter time than at higher temps.

I have no real data on osteoclasts so I cannot give a recommendation.

Usually, when it comes to culturing a unique or unusual cell line, the researchers play with the culture until they find a protocol that works for them.
