 | Generally, if the cells will grow in flask culture they will grow well in the Cellmax system. Because of the manner in which the cells attach and grow one should not expect to be able to recover significant amounts of adherent cells. Hollow fiber cell culture is best suited for the production of soluble product such as proteins, virus, cytokines and the generation of conditioned medium. Large numbers of suspension cells, such as lymphocytes can be harvested. |
