mold contamination | jak332 | 2009-07-28 | Click here to register. |

| We have a mold contamination which pops up here and there, not in all plates nor at all times. We have had our hood decontaminated several times, are continually autoclaving the shelves in our incubator, and have changed all reagents. If we have mold spores in our lab area, how will we ever get rid of all of them, and wouldn't we continually be bringing them into the lab again from the outside? We culture mouse es cells. What are the most pertinent operator issues that can be modified or controlled? Thanks, jak332 |
