Converting MU of antibiotic to suggested working concentrationdavid waynar2008-04-07Click here to register.
We purchased Lincomycin Hydrochloride. It states 1MU

and potency of 800-900 units per mg. We want a working concentration of 100 mg/L. How do you do the calculation to obtain the working calculation when units are MU?

Thanks

1MU means 1 million units. Convert units to mg active then to dilution desired.
